Gate Valve
Gate valve is also called sluice valve or sluice gate valve, it is a gate for opening and closing. The movement direction of the wedge is perpendicular to the flow direction. The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be regulated or throttled. The gate valve is sealed by the contact between the valve seat and the wedge plate, and the sealing surface is usually welded with metal materials to increase wear resistance, such as 1Cr13, STL6, stainless steel, etc. According to the difference of the wedge, the gate valve can be divided into solid gate valve and flexible gate valve. AFC can offer gate valve in different materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron etc. in different standards. API 600 gate valve is one of the most popular one among them.
